You have a screw on filter the K&N part is kn-204 that is the black, kn-204 is chrome the really nice thing about the K&N is the have a 17mm nut on the end of it so you don't have to play around trying to get the old off ever again. The oil, you want a motorcycle oil as it IS NOT the same as car oil. Amsoil and Repsol both make a really good V-Twin 20-50 oil. You'll to get yourself 4 liters and it'll take about 3 1/2.
